The paths to feeling better vary and, at OM Old Orchard, we offer a variety of classes and events, workshops and retreats to give you time to get to the root of the root of your discomfort, tension or unease.

Where to begin your journey to having more patience, more flexibility, more peace is up to you.

What are you feeling?

  • You could be experiencing spiritual or emotional tension. Other ways this shows up are:

    • Sense of restlessness or dissatisfaction

  • This is obvious probably, but you need to address physical tension in the body. Other indicators you need to take some time to address this are:

    • Stiffness or discomfort in muscle groups

    • Localized pain that improves with stretching or massage

    • Restricted movement or difficulty with physical tasks

    • Headaches associated with neck or shoulder tension

  • Odds are you need some hydration or could be experiencing nutritional deficiency. Always talk to your health care provider for specifics when it comes to these symptoms but know we have some options strategically placed in our yoga schedule:

    • Headaches, muscle cramps, dizziness.

    • Difficulty concentrating, confusion, mood swings.

    • Increased feelings of anxiety or irritability.

    • Fatigue, weakness, muscle tension or stress.

    Our partner, Integrated Vitality, hosts regular times where you can experience:

    • IV Hydration Therapy

    • B12 Shots

    • Private Hydration Therapy

    Search the schedule for "Shot Bars" held every other Monday and "Vital Hydration Lunar Infusions" held on the weeks of the full and new moon.

    We offer these small group "drip sessions" on the weeks of the new and full moon since so many women cycle with the moon and hydration is essential, especially if you experience heavy cramping - you can get magnesium added to your drip.

What is therapeutic restorative yoga?

These sessions are two hours long and limited to four people. You can expect to be thoroughly propped and supported so you can rest deeply in a supported posture. From there, you will receive hot towels, sandbags, hand weights, cold compresses - whatever the body is calling for…

Away from all of life’s ordinary demands, in the peace and calm of the studio, you are able to receive care designed to calm the nervous system, let go of tension and emerge literally a better person. :)
